It is with great enthusiasm that I, Melody Lee, welcome you on behalf of the International Association of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (IADMS). Working as a registered sonographer in North America had given me a vision and a passion for the newest technology in modern medicine, which is ultrasound. I founded this association in 2023 with Dr. Samuel Chan and Dr. Alex Chan, with a vision to champion the integration of diagnostic medical ultrasound into the patient care of different healthcare professionals. 

 

Our association’s motto, “I see with sound,” encapsulates the transformative power of this technology. With advancements in medical imaging, we now have the ability to non-invasively peer into the human body in real-time, offering healthcare providers a newfound vision to guide their diagnostic and treatment decisions. 

 

The core of IADMS’s mission is to educate and empower healthcare professionals to harness the capabilities of ultrasound technology. By combining their medical expertise with the versatility of this diagnostic tool, we aspire to elevate the accuracy of diagnoses, reduce the need for invasive interventions, and ultimately, promote more proactive and personalized approaches to healthcare. 

 

As a passionate sonographer, I have dedicated my career to sharing the wonders of ultrasound with the world. This technology has become a driving force in my life, and I am honored to lead an association that is committed to utilizing it to bring about a better future for all.
